October (Cinquain)

Night frost
Leaves in sunshine
Wild, raging thunderstorms
The birds are leaving suddenly

Winters Dawn

When in autumn the golden hair of a fairy flies
High over each tree and mountain
When leaves of all colours cover the ground
The birds say good-bye with a last wings sound.

The sweet smell of apples and mushrooms
Covers the air all around
Raindrops like drops of lost love and hope
Falling softly and unheard at night to the ground

Storms like butlers pleading the trees
To undress for near winters sleep
Each hamster and mouse preparing a bed
Before lakes and earth start to deep-freeze
